Good news everyone! Waitrose finally has some cycle stands for you to use! After securing support from Waitrose and then Waterborne Walk’s landlord last year, we can happily reveal that there are at last two Sheffield cycle stands outside of Waitrose. Thanks to Waitrose and Evolve Estates for helping us install this very useful infrastructure.

If you’re cycling to Waitrose, these stands are perfectly located for convenience and security. They can be found between one of the shopping trolley bays and the disabled parking spaces here. There’s plenty of space around them, making them ideal not only for standard bikes but also for cargo bikes, trikes, and disability-adapted cycles. Why drive when you can often get to Waitrose faster, happily filtering past the traffic jams!
This is just one small step toward making Leighton Buzzard a more cycle-friendly town. Together, we can make an even bigger impact! Where would you like to see new cycle racks installed? Let us know by getting in touch or leave a comment at the bottom of this post. Happy riding!
