from social rides and leisurely cycling, road riding with group rides or mountain biking and off-road riding
Leisure Cycling
BuzzCycles
Leighton BuzzCycles runs rides and events to encourage more people to cycle. We aim to cover entry-level cycling with routes and rides of up to 5 or 10 miles with longer rides of up 20 miles on request.
All our rides are social rides run at the pace of the slowest rider, and we aim to stop somewhere on route or at the end of the ride.
Road Cycling
Leighton Buzzard Road Cycling Club (LBRCC)
Leighton Buzzard Road Cycling Club (LBRCC) is a friendly and welcoming club. We offer a variety of group rides for all abilities, from beginners to experienced riders. Our rides take place on Sundays, with different groups catering to different paces. We also have a strong social scene, with regular club events and social rides. Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, explore the local countryside, or simply enjoy a social ride with like-minded people, LBRCC is the perfect club for you.
Ride Off-Road
Lumens Loonies
Lumens Loonies rides are technical off-road rides, starting at 7:30 PM by the Market Cross, last 2-3 hours and usually end at a pub back in Leighton Buzzard. Please bring lights to see ahead of you as well as lights to be seen with. Hope you like pork scratchings! To get involved with Lumen Loonies, it’s best to join their Facebook group and say hello.
