New from Spring 2024 – Easy Family Cycle Route
While cycling through Rushmere on a recon of Route: Greensand Country Cycleways – Heath Way discovered that Rushmere have been busy “We’ve been working hard to build a new easy cycling route for families coming to the park with the kids and their bikes and it’s now ready for you to explore!!” Check out https://www.greensandtrust.org/cycling
It starts next to the visitor centre – follow the blue marker posts on a circular route through woodland allowing access to just off the car park and follows a short route on the other side of the Sculpture trail which is for pedestrians only. It loops back around to the beginning or you can cut across to our fun Pump Track where riders can practise riding bumps.
It’s FREE to use (no cycle pass required – parking charges apply). Aimed at ages 4-12 it’s a great way for young riders to hone their cycling skills.
